Business Builders Marketing Policies: Social Media, Privacy, Web, Projects, and Payment
Social Media Usage
Participation on and in Business Builders Marketing Social Media channels is voluntary and optional. Clients and the public may view, review, post, or comment at their own discretion. Likewise, we will do the same and act as our own social media monitoring agent. We have the right to refuse visitors, delete comments, or handle any channel in the way that we feel is appropriate for our clients, our market, and our public.
Clients often provide us with complete access to their social media channels to consult, communicate and manage needs. We do not share non-public information with third parties and all action taken will be permission based. You have the ability and permission to remove us from any channels at any time as you deem appropriate.
If we have completed a project or if we are no longer managing your social media platform(s), it is the client’s responsibility to remove our access to that platform. And with no active projects or contracts in place, we are not able to act as a consultant or social media support service. If you are in a situation where you would benefit from our help, please reach out to us to explore having a service package in place.
Delayed Projects

Website Maintenance Communication
Websites are dynamic and proper maintenance is essential to keep sites alive and healthy. Business Builders Marketing offers clarity as to website maintenance programs, inclusions, and updating practices both on our website and through our monthly newsletter. We also offer direct emails when there is important web news or updates happening. We recommend that all clients pay attention to email, sign up for our e-communications, and be sure to keep us updated if contacts or email addresses change. Website Updating System
Those on website maintenance can take advantage of our convenient Website Updating Program. This program allows clients to request updates, from their own website, through a form that goes directly to our project management system. Here the need can be seen and handled by our team members. You can always choose to reach out to your representative to request assistance, however, please be aware that doing so is not as efficient as utilizing our service system.
Contract Termination
All agreements that are in place with Business Builders Marketing were entered in a professional fashion by mutual agreement. If either party needs to terminate the agreement, for any reason, it is within their right to do so on a 90-day notice. We request at least a 90-day notification for the termination of Digital Marketing and Managed Marketing Services Contracts, however, please refer to your project letter as some client agreements require a longer notification period based upon their plan of work. Website maintenance clients can terminate services with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. Please be aware that we have paid technical security and staff assigned to your website that is arranged 30 days in advance. Upon termination, you will always be responsible for the current month’s payment, and the month that follows. For example, if you terminated service on March 2, you would be responsible for the March and April invoice. Termination requests need to come from the main company point of contact and must be formal, via letter or formal email request, so everyone has a record of the request.

Grant Allocation Credit
Our clients are responsible for the full payment of a project once agreed upon and scheduled, even if the scope of that project changes. As the nature of grant funding, projects that do not require the entire grant allocation that has been paid, may receive a credit that can be applied to future projects. Granting credit is not something that our organization is obligated to do. Whether and how much grant credit should be allowed is determined at our sole discretion. In all cases credit that may be granted, must be utilized within the same calendar year in which the initial project was authorized and funded.
Community Service: Pro Bono Marketing Support
We offer complementary marketing support services through our Under our Wing grant as well as to many churches, nonprofits, and charities across our service area. Doing so is at our discretion and is based upon the time and talent available when there is a need based on our current workload. If you are turned down for assistance, please understand that it is based upon our capacity not our willingness to offer help.
